Application Process for
Kindergarten - 8th Grade
In addition to your application form, applicants are required to submit:
- a non-refundable application fee of $75. Checks must be made payable to
Advent Lutheran School. - a copy of your child's latest standardized test results. (grades 1-8 only)
- any educational or psychological testing results.
- a copy of child's birth certificate.
- Two recommendation forms sent directly from former school.

Upon receipt and review of your completed application package, we will schedule an admission screening, and a meeting for you and your child with our Admissions Director or other designated school official. If there are no class openings available when your application is received, your child's name will be put on a wait list. You will be notified as soon as an opening becomes available.
Once your child has been accepted, the following is due to the school prior to admission:
- a completed enrollment form and a non-refundable $340 registration fee to guarantee enrollment.
- an up-to-date Florida Certification of Immunization (Form DH680).
- An up-to-date Student Health Examination (Form DH3040).
- If there are no class openings available when your application is received, your child's name will be put on a wait list. You will be notified as soon as an opening becomes available.
Final decisions regarding acceptance will be made only after all requested items are received and evaluated by the Admission Committee. Careful consideration is given to each applicant to make certain that the program is a good match for the applicant's needs. ALS admits and does not discriminate against any students on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin.
