Apostolos Weekend Announced

Boca Raton, Florida — Advent Lutheran Church members are invited to participate in Apostolos weekend, to be held Friday evening, November 21 through Sunday afternoon, November 23. Based on the Discovery model, an Apostolos weekend will focus on the ways in which Jesus sends us out to be his witnesses in the world. Eligible participants will be members of Advent who have attended either a Discovery weekend, Via de Cristo, or both.

Discovery weekend is a spiritual growth opportunity for members who are new to Advent. Participants have the opportunity to grow in their walk with the Lord and experience Christian community in a powerful way. Discovery weekends have been a vital part of Advent' congregation’s ministry for many years.

Apostolos represents an additional opportunity for spiritual growth at Advent. Apostolos weekends help Advent church members to go deeper in their walk with the Lord. The purpose of an Apostolos weekend is to help participants discover their unique calling from God and to equip them for ministry in the world.
