Classes

Baton
ALEC is home to an award-winning baton twirling program for girls, kindergarten age and older. The program is designed to educate, challenge and uplift young twirlers.

The new "Floor Corp" class focuses on the techniques and the art of baton twirling. The class also uses a variety of props.

The new "Dance/Twirl" class will combine baton twirling and dance with an emphasis on performance techniques.

Creative Movement
Creative Movement classes are offered at the ALEC studio for preschool and prekindergarten age students. The class is taught by Ines Aperio-Lopez, a professional ballet dancer. Karate

Yoga
The following Yoga classes are offered at ALEC for children and adults.

Children's Yoga provides students with a fun way to improve flexibility, balance and coordination, to enhance relaxation through breathing exercise, and to promote general health and fitness.

Adult Christian Yoga combines all the great physical benefits of yoga such as flexibility, strength and relaxation with inspiring and rejuvenating Christian music.
