Children's Ministries

Baptism
Infants and children are baptized so that they may receive the benefits of God's grace, freedom from sin, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Baptisms are generally conducted on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. Adventureland
Adventureland is our children's ministry program offered during our worship service. Adventureland currently serves preschool through sixth grade. For more information about our children's worship programs, please click here.

Crossroads
Crossroads is a ministry program that serves children in fourth through sixth grade. We generally meet 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on the first Friday of each month for fun, fellowship, spiritual growth, and service projects. Parents sign up for one activity during the year. First Communion
First Communion preparation takes place with on-going activities in the fifth-grade curriculum followed by a mini-retreat for students and parents in the spring. First communion is celebrated on Maundy Thursday. Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club is our youth ministry for fifth and sixth graders. This group meets on the second and fourth Sunday of every month during the 10:00 worship service to share in the word and to enjoy the breakfast they help plan and cook. This group attends communion worship on the first and third Sunday of every month. Early Childhood School
The Advent Early Childhood School was founded in 1968 by the members of Advent Lutheran Church in response to the community's need for high quality Christian education for children as young as 6 weeks old through prekindergarten age. Advent Lutheran Elementary School
Advent Lutheran Elementary School provides a Christ-centered environment for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.
