Our Mission
The mission of Advent Ministries is to share the love, unity, joy, hope and healing that comes to people when our lives are surrendered to the gracious Lordship of God the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit through ministries resulting from Christian spiritual motivation that fills human needs and heals human hurts.

Our Purpose
Advent's purpose is to share the love of Christ.

Faith Practices
Advent Lutheran Church's discipleship is based on seven faith practices. Followers of Jesus are inspired to develop practices and patterns for living that characterize a life that is devoted to daily discipleship.  Seven common practices have been identified as key to model and nurture.

  1. Pray (Prayer)
  2. Worship
  3. Study (Christian Education)
  4. Invite (Evangelism)
  5. Encourage (Passing on the Faith)
  6. Serve (Service)
  7. Give (Stewardship)
